Blinky Bill, a Australian Classic

Blinky Bill is considered one of our quintessential Australian children's classics!

Written and illustrated by the talented Dorothy Wall back in the early 1930's, The  tales of Blinky Bill have been so popular among early readers that they have not been out of print since!

Through the stories of Blinky Bill we see adventure, friendship and a whole lot of mischief!

This type of classic story is my favourite to read to my children at bedtime. The kind of story that promotes young children to lay down in bed and really listen to the words, engaging them in a adventure while promoting a love and appreciation of words, reading and storytelling!
